报告题目: Furstenberg theory of mixed random-quasiperiodic cocycles
For product of random SL(m,R) matrices, assuming generic conditions called non-compactness and strong
irreducibility, it is well known by the result of H. Furstenberg in 1963 that the corresponding top Lyapunov exponent is positive.
In this talk, we will generalize the Furstenberg’s positivity criterion of the top LE, to a model called mixed random-quasiperiodic cocycle. We will introduce this new model with some new notions and explain the link between Furstenberg’s proof and ours.
Applications to Schrodinger operators will also be mentioned.
